RAW
MATERIALS :
Selected,
high quality raw materials which are preferable and approved for
specified requirement are being practiced. In order to attain a
maximum product quality and properties formulation of these
materials is strictly according to the material manufacturer’s
recommendation. All materials selected and applied are especially
designed to perform ideal for the local conditions and to prevail a
perfect laminate. |
 |
Apart from the above, if the tanks are for potable water intended
for human consumption ultimate care is ensured for raw material
practices. Periodical tests are conducted in accredited laboratories
to assure that the laminate does not taint the quality of the
content stored in the tank. |
|
FABRICATION : Well trained
dedicated personnel under adequate supervision are being utilized
for the fabrication of the tanks. The tanks are fabricated by
contact mould hand lay up process. All seam
joints shall be formed by addition of overlay
layers as per the requirement of the practiced standard. Optimum
protection against ultraviolet rays is assured by providing U V
Resistant gelcoat and topcoat. Apart from the above to insure a
completely opaque tank body in an intention to prevent algae growth
inside the tank, black / grey colour coating is provided between
laminate layers throughout the tank body. Curing of the products is
strictly according to the design requirement and as per the resin
manufacturer’s recommendation.
SURFACE
FINISH :
The tanks
will have smooth mould finish internally except seam portion and
coated rough hand lay up finish externally.
TYPE OF
CONSTRUCTION :
Seamed
externally bolted type tanks are normally available. Seamless shell
type will be fabricated only on request.
CONNECTIONS :
All tanks
will have provisions for fixing standard connectors. Connectors will
be provided along with tank only on
request.
QUALITY
ASSURANCE :
Quality
assurance is strictly as per the requirement of BS EN ISO 9001:
2000. All records pertaining to the Quality of the will be preserved
and is available for verification / review whenever required by the
responsible authority.

RAW MATERIALS
:
Since the tanks are intended to store water for human consumption
ultimate care is ensured for raw material practices. Selected, high
quality raw materials which are preferable and approved for
specified requirement are being practiced. In order to attain a

The tanks has been tested and recorded acceptable for the purpose of
storing drinking water by Abu Dhabi Municipality Food and
Environment department. Periodical tests are conducted in accredited
laboratories to assure that the laminate does not taint the quality
of the content stored in the tank.
SURFACE
FINISH :
The tanks
will have smooth mould finish both internally and externally.
FABRICATION &
ASSEMBLY :
Well trained
dedicated personnel under adequate supervision are being utilized
for the fabrication of the panels. Optimum protection against
ultraviolet rays is assured by providing U V Resistant gelcoat and
topcoat. Apart from the above to insure a completely opaque tank in
an intention to prevent algae growth inside the tank, black / grey
colour coating is provided between laminate layers throughout the
panel. Curing of the Panels is strictly according to the resin
manufacturer’s recommendation.
For assembling the panels together all panels are drilled in plant
with help of jig. Assembly of the panels to form the tank will be
carried out over the foundation / metal skid at site. Metal skid
will be provided only if requested by customer. High quality, U V
Ray resistant P V C Foam seal is used as gasket for the panel joints
to ensure a leak proof joint. Fasteners used are of size M10,
Stainless steel of A4/316 Grade. The pitch between fasteners will be
less than 150mm. The panel joints for wall and floor are stiffened
by jig drilled hot dipped Galvanized flat bar externally. All the
vertical corners will be further stiffened with hot dipped
Galvanized equal angle.
BRAZING :
Tanks with height more than 1.0m will have external or internal
brazing as required. If internal brazing is intended the material
used will be stainless steel of grade A4/316. The external brazing
component will be galvanized or rust proofed mild steel.
CONNECTIONS /
INTERNAL PIPINGS :
All tanks
will be equipped with standard type connection flanges (PN16, U P V
C) at desired location.
QUALITY
ASSURANCE :
Quality
assurance is strictly as per the requirement of BS EN ISO 9001:
